It really iis comparable. And, looks like a really nice example.
Anybody want to hazard a wild guess where I'm buying my next car....(and where I sourced my 928)??

2 things I noticed. The rear bumperettes look pushed in so possibly hit a little in the rear and it's an L-jet not a K-jet as ad claims(w/229 hp). Otherwise looks great.

Note that the leather on the dash doesn't appear to have shrunken very much - the reason it is buckled-up is because the plastic underneath is deformed!!!
Here are a few more pics, including the mystery device under the dash (owner has no idea what it is):

There are some things on the sticker that throw me off:
1. Metallic Paint to Sample - $550 -- that would be a very low price for paint to sample, but realistic for regular metallic, which I think is meteor metallic.
2. Special Leather Interior - $1325 -- may I assume that "Special" in this context means leather dash, console, arm rests and rear quarter panels?

Under dash device is a cheap version of the UNGO BOX, which was THE BEST theft prevention device on the market in the early 80's! The dealership installed one in BLUE82 back before it was sold (along with the ULTRA expensive and SUPER AWESOME Concorde Stereo!)

Can you imagine how good it would look in my garage, next to the slate grey S4?
But I don't have the ability or means to restore it myself, so I'm glad it goes to someone who does.

Great pics and comments. Awesome. You should be commended. I just drove my 81 around the beach on the way home. These cars are fantastico! I wonder if that Dos Equis dude drove a 928?
