Damn that was 10 minutes from me, if the price was right I would have got it if I had known.

The guy was selling 3 cars in the members only classifieds. One was a non-running red '89 5-speed for $3000 OBO, this '84 Euro for $2000 OBO, and a '81 for $6500 OBO. The threads are still out there. It looks like the '84 is the only one sold.

Sorry for the hiccup. I will continue with my original intentions of taking what I need and then parting the good stuff from this car. Everyone that I have already exchanged PMs with, consider it sold. I need to sort through the other stuff and will update the listing later and contact those who have sent me PMs.

The car is arriving this evening. I will try to get into it this weekend and get some more pics and some more details of what I will be selling off. Those who PM'd me, I will get back with you with your questions.

Just an update. Finally got most everything off the car that I need and some more. Will start cleaning up parts and sending them out next week. I still need a little time to get the cam towers and heads off.
Gone or spoken for are the cam towers with cams, radiator, fan and lower shroud, intakes and throttle body,MAF, roller with coilovers and the header/exhaust, LH and EZK.
Still available:
Sport seats, heads that were rebuilt in the past, H5 headlights, 5 spd G28/05 no lsd, twin dizzy, airbox, non sunroof headliner

Still working on the cam towers and the heads. Much more difficult removal with the motor in the car.....
All paid for parts were sent yesterday. Rare or desired parts still available are:
non sunroof headliner, heads, twin dizzy, airbox, early sport seats, Euro S high impedance injectors, G28/05 5-spd,
The roller is available again complete with bilstein/eibachs, non sunroof body, Euro S '84 bottom end of motor, 4 nice condition wheels. I will not part this because it needs to remain a roller. Price is $350 and it comes with a clean/clear title. If it is not spoken for by this weekend and picked up by Monday of next week, it is going to scrap. I have an offer for $350 from a scrapper who will pick it up. I need it out of my garage so I can start re-assembling my car.

FWIW, a scrap guy will most likely take it whether is rolls or not. You should be able to nab the wheels and coilovers.

If you were really as altruistic as you claimed to be helping other's keep their cars on the road, I can't understand how you can be finished with this car.

So you are okay with sending a 10% parted 928 to scrap huh?

Hopefully someone will buy this car

I do not live in a neighborhood that would allow a car to sit outside on jackstands for more than 1 day. If I remove the wheels and shocks, it wont be a roller and I won't be able to remove it from my garage. I could sell the coilovers for more than the whole roller with them on it. Crazy!!! It resides under my car which is on a lift. The sooner I get rid of this car, the sooner I can concentrate on getting my car back on the road for SITM as a goal. I have also offered some a good deal on the remaining good parts(heads and headers/exhaust)as well plus the roller, but no taker yet. I just responded to an offer on the heads and am waiting to hear back.
The car is helping get mine back on the road, as well as helping the other individuals who purchased 1. intakes and TB, 2. MAF, 3. brains, 4. radiator and fan, 5. cams. At this point 1 car is helping 6 people and possibly more as there is still interest in other parts.

Have you contacted Benton (the 9source) to see if he has any interest in the roller/remaining parts? You are close enough to him for it to possibly be of interest to his business.
