How many daily drivers out there?

Drifting
If its a nice day why wouldn't I take the porsche.
Heck, Deb and I took it camping, put on 4500 kilometers and wore out a set of back tire by the time we got home, well 30% left on the tires.
There are times when we want a nice easy drive and we take the truck to go get a coffee.
Know your car

Three Wheelin'
I drive it more than any of my other vehicles... My buddies think I'm putting toooo many miles on it, but I say "who the hell am I saving it for...? I'M DRIVING IT!!!" The only one that beats out the Great White Shark is my other Classic V8 - the AM Skier Advance and thats ONLY when the sun is out, the lake is empty & water-skiing is the priority

Bought it in 2003 with 88K miles, just had the top end redone at 135K. I drive it every day in sun, rain (despite leaky targa top) and snow (less than 3 inches). For more snow or ice I take the 86 F250 4x4.

Race Car
My '85 was DD for a couple of years. On balance, performed well. My 83 Euro has mainly been parked, preening. My 86.5 was bought with intention of making it a DD....but I just don't think I can do it!

Purchased the car new in 1987. Used it as a daily driver in Connecticut, summer and winter, until 1997 when we retired in Wyoming. Since that time it has been mostly a summer car.
For those who do not use it in winter, I found that the car, with the rear mounted transmission and positraction, was as good as any car that I have owned including a number of front wheel drivers. I recall one time my wife and I were on a ski vacation in Sugarbush, VT. We had gone to a movie that evening and came out of the theater to a huge snowstorm. Made our way back to Sugarbush, up a very long, steep hill to our hotel, passing all manner of stuck cars on the way including some front wheel drivers. The car didn't miss a beat.
As for all the salt that they use on the east coast, I made sure that I ran the car through a car wash with under car rinse after every snow/ice storm. No rot on this car as of today.
The primary reason that I don't use the car in winter today is that we live about a mile off of plowed roads here in Wyoming and our beat up old GMC 1/2 ton 4 x 4 just makes more sense. Why beat up such a great car?

Although I am retired and don't go someplace every day, on the days that I do go somewhere, I drive my 86.5.
We just had two weeks straight of sunny 70 degree days...funny but I have had someplace to go just about every day for the past two weeks!! I love it when that happens!
