The last DFW GTG at Andrew's in Bartonville
Unfortunately for the DFW crew, our favorite breakfast meeting place is closing at the end of this month. We will meet in other places, but Andrew's was special to us. Some pictures from the last GTG on 3-5-11.
You will notice that Sterling is beginning a new trend in 928's by not only going wingless, but also hoodless.
Finally! also brought his new to him 928, Jim brought his M6, and Joanne W. brought their Cayman. Always nice to see Jarrod and his beautiful GT. It's nice to know the plastic bag shock dust cover is now gone.

Brad,
You need to change your avatar.
We will have to use several places initally to replace Andrew's. The Plano people can't generally seem to find their way to the 817 area code. When we do meet in Arlington, we seem to get a whole different set of people at the GTG's. I never mind driving, so if we have one in Arlington, then one somewhere closer to Plano or Oklahoma, it's okay with me.

very nice but....
I was kinda hoping you'd come up with the picture from the day when both you and Sean were bruised. You know, the tech session day we were firing Roger's anti-aircraft guns?

Yup...you sure did! Looked like they had 15 928's there. It was on the north side of the metroplex a little west of center...kind of on the way towards Denton if you were going from Dallas... That is one of the best groups of 928ers too! SUPER GUYS!

Grrrrr... wish I had been paying more attention. My wife would have loved it too! We stayed at the Worthington on Sundance Square Friday night, should have been lurking online more, I guess.

Discarded interoffice memorandum found in the waste bin of Andrew's Restaurant Monday morning.......
URGENT ANDREW'S RESTAURANT ALL STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT
Interoffice Memo March 6, 2011
To: All Andrew’s Personnel
Re: Plot to Prevent DFW Area 928 Members from Coming Back
Dear Team, SUCCESS IS OURS!!!!!!. Those not too sharp, front engined, bloated, water cooled, 911 wannabe owners from North Texas and Oklahoma completely swallowed our phony announcement of shutting down the restaurant. This means those recalcitrant, odiferous, gluttonous, kings of the “all you can eat” menu will not be coming back. Most important, this represents big money to us and no more having to fumigate and bleach wash the restaurant after they leave. Also means a return to profitability on the Fixed Price Saturday brunch. If those bastards ever decided to meet here more than once a month we’d actually be out of business. For a motley crew they eat faster and more than a locust swarm. Especially that big guy they called “Curry”. He must be hell at those lunch time Indian all-you-can-eat buffets and hence the name.
Our regular customers, families and normal pleasant folk who bathe, will once again return to our establishment insuring our profitability. And yes, our waitresses can go back to expecting money for tips instead of the smartass comments often scribbled in the tip section on the bill. What the hell does “Use Amsoil all the time and every time” and “There’s a Rogerbox in your future” mean anyways?
Once again Team, I am extremely impressed by your ability to participate and support in our charade to rid ourselves of the 928 scourge.
Sincerely,
Andy and Myrella, Owners - Andrew’s Restaurant and Catering

I'm voting for Cars & Coffee in Plano also. It's been a year since we've done this.
Kenny, no probs buddy, you got a nice car there.
Dan, that is great, and could very well be true.

We are back into Lacrosse season. My son usually plays on Saturday. Looks like you guys had a good showing. Sterling glad to see yours is back on the road again.
I am off next week for spring break if any of you need a hand with anything.

Dan,
That is some funny stuff. You may not be too far off the mark. Someone beat me to the restroom this past Saturday, and I'm telling you that I hope they do not remember eating ANYTHING that smelled like that.
Blandis,
Is that your '88 on Craigslist?
