Also, when trying to post a pic, if it is too large (high res), the site won't take it.

Try reducing your pics to 72 dpi

# 3 - Since my original post I've fixed the rear hatch light and now all interior lights work properly when the hatch is open. Unfortunately, they wont light up when either of the doors are open & the lights are in the "door open" position - strange. Door pins all work, door open "ping" sounds while either door is open, but still no interior lights. On a good note, I pushed & prodded all the relays and the security system seems to be working again, but it doesnt alarm when the door is opened without the key. You can open the door and get in and it alarms when you try to start the car - strange (again). In addition, the reverse lights wont turn on... checked the bulbs, cleaned connections, etc. They worked a month ago, but now... not so much

Any suggestions / insights on which relay the security system runs through would be greatly appreciated - probably needs to be changed out - and comments on the interior lights while in "door open" mode and the reverse light issues are appreciated as well

My experience has been it is not possible to fix subsystems.

I have a regimen of total cleaning of all grounds and door switches, remove and scour fuse box, all new fuses, polish all relay contacts, replace all relays associated with ignition and fuel, plus whole top row regardless.

When that happens, most problems mysteriously disappear. Not before.

That process often reveals a series of unexpected harness burns, disconnects and oddball wrong re-wiring.

I've done this now on 6 cars and participated in 2 more. Same situation EVERY time.

Would you happen to have that regimen written down anywhere?? Ya know, that you could either post or send via email... It appears I'm gonna be in need of it. I dont have any MAJOR electrical issues (yet)... YET being the operative word and one look at that fuse box, the relays and computer boxes intimidates the crap out of me... Guess I'm gonna have to get over that...
