Thanks again for all the feedback. Columbus, OH... I have additional photos posted in my profile (if I can figure out how to get back to my profile). This car was being auctioned on EBay by Braman Motors, Miami, for about ONE minute when I called to ask for thier sale price. I struck a deal at $10,900 + tax, title, registration, etc... They left it on the auction for 2 days and I was furious... The sales manager almost sold it out from under me three times (people calling from all over the world) but the salesman actually had some integrity and stuck to our deal. He went to another manager and they took the car off the auction & I flew down the NEXT day. My heart was in my throat cause I knew it was ONE HELLUVA nice car that probably needed some minor work... The next week an 86.5, Gray, AT, Stock Wheels, low miles in NC was selling on EBay for $16,500 + when I stopped watching the bids... Thinking I got a pretty good deal - just looking at the receipts for the wheels is 1/3 the price of the car and all the major maintenance has been done - receipts in hand. Shouldnt need a TB or anything major for a while & most issues are electrical gremlins ( no surprise there Which reminds me... I'M GOING FOR A RIDE!!! LATER!!!!

Looking forward to some interior pics. great car. PM sent on 87 large resonators if the OP can use them. 110K and they look to be in very good shape. Fair price? If you are going to go with flowmaster here is a part # that might be usefull. #953049. Go to the flowmaster website and it looks like these would work in the resonator spot. These are 3 in. but I am sure they have 2.5 in this same 40 series.

When you make a post... see the 2 buttons "Post Quick Reply" and "Go Advanced"? Click on the "Go Advanced" instead.

Once there, you can make your post and there is another button below the post window called "Manage Attachments" -click that, then a pop up window for you to "Browse" and "Upload" photos appears.

Then once everything is set, click "Submit Reply" and you're done.

To elaborate:
When adding pictures, you'll either have pics on your computer that you want to include into your message (upload); or you have pictures that are on a webpage or in a photoshare (linked).
As White Lightnin' says, to include pictures from your computer, follow his instructions (go to "Advanced").
The "Post Quick Reply" mode only allows you to insert pictures into your message that have a web link. This is what the little mountain icon is for
(see pic below).

Note: When inserting uploaded pictures using the Advanced mode, the images will always be at the bottom of your post in the "Attached Images" box as they are in this post.
When inserting linked pictures, the pictures will appear in your text block at the point at which you insert the link.

Very beautiful car Joel. Congradulations.

Love the color combination inside/outside. Very nice.
It looks in a very, very good shape. Wow!

The wheels look like RH's.

But not sure if you're right when you say that "No GT would be complete without a 5 SPEED!!!"
Not sure at all!

Congradulations again and keep her in a good shape.

Re: your wheels:
If they're RH (which I think they are), and they were purchased w/in the last few years, they're the 3.6 (as in Bertrand's link) which are 3 piece.

Like all 3 piece wheels, those are, and have always been pricey. About $1k per, before tires. I'm not sure of the markings for RH, but I believe that Allurad may be stamped on the wheel somewhere. Also, take a look at the front offset stamped on the wheel. If it's 59mm, it's likely that they are RH. IIRC, RH is the only company who made the 3.6 style wheel in a 59mm offset - which is ideal for our cars.

There are other companies who did the 3.6 Turbo style wheel:

The original Speedline - a very pricey 3 piece with a polished aluminum center as opposed to painted silver. I believe that they were the oem supplier for Porsche's optional 3.6 Turbo wheels. No longer made...
Also I don't believe that they ever made 18" in 3.6 - only 17", and not sure about front offsets in the 58-60mm range. I believe that Speedlines had a stepped rim (a 2" bolt lip with a 15" hub..as seen in the photo).

Keskin/Veloce which are one piece wheels. I believe that the offsets aren't available in anything more than 55mm, so the Keskin's aren't the optimal front offsets.

Here's a link on the 964 board where they discuss these wheels.

Kenisis made a 3.6 style wheel, "BW Motorsports". 928 Specialists carried them about 10 years ago. IIRC, they offered an 18" wheel, but it was a 16" center with a 2" stepped rim. They were going to do a reverse drop center like RH did, but apparently never got them into production. The centers look like the cup center, but dip inward more than the original 3.6 (see photo)

Since yours are 18", they're likely more recent than 10+ years. Plus their low profile bolt lip would indicate RH. This low proifile "reverse drop center" wheel allows for an 17" hub to be used on an 18" rim providing a lower profile look with more wheel surface. I believe that RH used the same hub for the 19"s with a 2" stepped rim.

RH's have the letters RH cast into the back of the rim, close to the offset number.
This is one of my RH's. on my 86, 18" powder coated black and polished rims.

Wow! Thanks again for the education on wheels... I'm thinking they are RH. Painted silver hubs - unfortunately not polished aluminum. Polished alum is great when you KEEP IT POLISHED Had a 76 Triumph 750 Tiger with more polished aluminum side covers, forks, etc, than you could shake a stick at... It took a day & 1/2 to polish it, but when you were done... it was beautiful... I think it had something to do with all the SWEAT that was mixin' with the Semichrome polish

Oh... and sorry... but I'm partial to Manual gear boxes I'll probably be eatin' my words when I blow the double clutch plates... Thanks again for all the feedback! See ya'all at the next Frenzy!!
