Default Another CHEAP Thunderhill trackday March 18th $160!!!

http://home.onemain.com/~bonster/

TEAM Racing is a great group that I have ran with many times in the past. What I really like is their 3 run group format, so it seems like you are always on track!!! They also have excellent instructors!!! They just picked up Friday March 18th and its priced at $160!!! Pretty cheap for so much seat time!!

I am seriously looking at running this one...mostly since its cheap...

No way I can sign up for this one, fundage cant pay for a trail of them plus the consumables.

Besides, a WHOLE nasa weekend is at Sears that weekend, so I cant anyhow.

Dude, save up...$300 will do a whole NASA weekend, 4 sessions/day, ANY expereince level, and we feed & beer you Saturday night at the track..included.

Well, you'll need a few things before you can do that..

You have a current NASA logbook on the estate?

get your medical, your license and forget about these DE days! Time for you to do some racing!

Im doing the GTS race with NASA in June at Sears, so you might want to start thinking about that weekend.

^^^Yeah but really nothing for $160. Gotta look again when i'm not at work though. Other than PCA stuff, NASA or SCCA is gonna have to be the way to go for decent seat time I think.

$269 for an entire weekend is a lot cheaper than $160 for a day.

Im not aware that the SCCA has an HPDE program, so youre in the NASA or PCA world for the most part.

Crap, you're right. I was thinking that it was for a weekend starting on Friday! I've run at NCCAR out here, and was told that I really needed to look into NASA. I'll probably go that route in the near future.

got an email from Bonnie..... She would be stoked to see a few 928's out there!!!

If anyone is interested in trackdays, but hasn't gone to one before..... Bonnies group does an excellent job....I think my 2nd trackday ever was with TEAM.... My instructor was EXCELLENT....I learned SO much that day..... I was very lucky in my 1st several trackdays to have great instructors..... If a local 928er wants to attend I am willing to instruct or recommend one.... I can even take you out for a ride in the Widow to see what a race 928 is like.....(my estate only has 1 seat)

another benefit is Hooked on Driving will be there Sat-Sun so our out of town friends can make a 3 day event out of it!!!!!
