extract the files to a folder, double click on VW-AU.exe located in the emulator folder, click on install and start box, then start Pet 7.2. I do not have windows 7 to test it on but its worth a shot.
GREAT!!! I had issues running PET 7,2 on my Vista. I was getting the Hardlock fail when I started.

This sorted it... PERFECT Thanks!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear it worked on Vista must be the 32 bit version. So far no fix for Windows 7 64 bit unless you go the virtual machine route.

Thank you!

Unfortunately it didn't work, Vista 64 bit SP 1.

Will have to mess with it a bit more tomorrow night.

For anyone that needed a fix for XP. Apparently you have to make sure you install the PET folder in the main C drive. Not in the programs folder. Then you can run the Asprin Emulator and it will work.

If you already installed it then Just copy the folder PET from wherever it is to the main C: Drive and all is good. Finally figured it out after a bunch of testing.

The new_aspirin.zip file referred to above is gone - anyone still have it?

I'm trying to install PET on a Win XP machine after my garage PC's hard drive died.
