He missed the point entirely. Donald, if you are reading this and I'm pretty sure you are, we don't like being treated like shills. Your statements seem rather disingenuos at best. If you want to talk 928's and decide to be a real enthustiast, then come on back - this is a great community and very forgiving (mostly;-). I suspect we won't be seeing you anymore though.

Well, on the first return he showed some signs of contribution and built a little trust with the CIS / L-Jet comparison thread.

The only reason that 31 year old car has survived upstate NY is the galvanization. Lets wire brush it.

I wonder why someone would go out of their way to keep mentioning at every opportunity that the car is 31 years old. How would that help to sell the car... A much better idea is to list the things on the car that are NOT 31 years old.

Problem with almost any car seen in here is that they have issues, many of them. Few people who come here to sell some of these cars try to make them look like they are something special which we haven't seen since 928's left dealer floor. Reality is that we have seen it all so many times that we know exacly what kind of piece of s&¤# 99.9% of all 928's are regardless of how good they look. It doesn't help that most of these sellers don't have 1% of knowledge compared to average owner who regularly reads Rennlist yet still thinks they can get away with silly sales talk.

THE CAR IS NOLONGER AVAILABLE TO ANYONE HERE AT RENNLIST.
We have decided we do not want to be apart of this 928 community. Too many of you are the kind of people I don’t associate with in life yet alone on a forum. You should all learn from this. You had very inspired 928 newbie trying to become part of a community which is enthused with their 928 cars as he is. Because it took years to put your tight group of people together, like all forums, you do not let anyone inside the circle. That's ok, and I know that’s how forums work. Unfortunately you pushed aside a very inspired and motivated 928 lover.
And P.S.
Our mecanic, had a huge shop in redneck TEXAS for over 25 years, raced, repaired, and modified 928's all his life. He even tried NASCAR but didnt qualify. He says he has a good laugh when I bring him here. To me that says it ALL

You've been trying to sell the car for some time without much luck. You would have been better served by coming in here and asking for some help. You didn't, but several people offered it anyway. Take offense if you want, but they are right.
