Default OVER 25,000 IN SERVICE RECORDS...

THE CAR IS NOLONGER AVAILABLE TO ANYONE HERE AT RENNLIST.
We have decided we do not want to be apart of this 928 community. Too many of you are the kind of people I don’t associate with in life yet alone on a forum. You should all learn from this. You had very inspired 928 newbie trying to become part of a community which is enthused with their 928 cars as he is. Because it took years to put your tight group of people together, like all forums, you do not let anyone inside the circle. That's ok, and I know that’s how forums work. Unfortunately you pushed aside a very inspired and motivated 928 lover.

And P.S.
Our mecanic, had a huge shop in redneck TEXAS for over 25 years, raced, repaired, and modified 928's all his life. He even tried NASCAR but didnt qualify. He says he has a good laugh when I bring him here. To me that says it ALL

IF I TOLD YOU HIS MANE. HE SAID ALL OF YOU WOULD KNOW HIM / BUT I DONT HAVE HIS PERMISSION

YOU ALL ARENT THE ONLY ONES WITH NICE 928's

Sorry for all the trouble, hope you were all entertained. (no charge for the entertainment)

For many years I have told people you can easily spend $2,500 a year on a 928 less if you do your own work or do not care about keeping it up. Your post just confirms that. Good luck with the sale. I bought my 1980 over 9 years ago for less than $2,000. And have spent far far less on it than most and it shows.

Way to many stickers on it for my taste, but if they come off w/o peeling paint it would be ok. I like the car personally! LOVE the OB cars! Nice clean look! GLWS!

FYI... you need to be a member to post for sale ads. I suspect this posting will not last.

Many of us have far more than that in just the last few years.

Less than a grand a year, not much has been done to it to be honest, what is important is how much was spent on hard repairs in the last 5 years, not paint or stickers, but things like TT bearings, Tbelts, etc...............

You can spend a quick $5-7K on a 928 just by dropping it off at a 911 specialist, and it will still have the same problems you brought it in for...
$25k is not much if it includes labor at $100+/hr.

Nice that it is a 5 speed, odd that it has 15 inch rims. Try not to to take offense at some of our comments for unknown reasons mobbing is a common event on this forum. Perhaps stems from the love/hate relationship many have with their 928s. Does look like it might be a pretty nice old 928 and they are getting more and more rare.

Engine looks very clean to me.. Don't take these comments to heart Donald, I have seen the mob tear apart 30k mile 928's that looked to be flawless to me but where crap to them. It really is laughable.. as their own 928 sitting on blocks in the garage is perfect.

I think the one owner 1978 that went through 928 International several years ago had close to $40,000 in receipts for like 75,000 miles. I had calculated that the owner's cost per mile was well over $1.00 . Drive round trip L A to S F and it would have cost $1,000 . Pretty nice car, the guy who bought it had an accident which killed it with in a year....then it got taken apart.

You also need to be a sponsor to sell things here except as an incidental sale. You are a dealer. Others who are real 928 enthusiasts have been banned for creating the appearance of selling cars (look up lowmiler for example). If you want to talk sharks, this is the place to be. If you are just buying and flipping, then you shouldn'r be on this board unless you are a sponsor. The mods will figure it out.

Not if you're not using the board to flip them.
