Default WOOT! It'll be on the truck tomorrow!

The anticipation is gonna kill me the next 5 days or so... Truck picks her up tomorrow, should be here between the 21st and 24th!

Now off to figure out which Cup or Turbo Twist wheels are the right fitment!

Thank you to all who have provided feedback, past posts, etc. which assisted in my search. Weird, had been searching for the last few months for a 930 when I happened up this 928!

The front offset on the twists is pretty bad.

Saw that one, decided on the one I bought based. On park place reputation, full records, recent tb, wp and steering rack rebuild with low miles. PLUS it's a 5 speed!

Welcome to the shark tank, nice looking car. Auto or 5-speed? We need pics of the interior and the engine.

Now join Rennlist and the 928 Owners Club and join us for our monthly breakfasts. Call Roger at 928s-R-us and get on the mailing list. The DFW crew is among the most active groups with lots of drives, tech sessions and get-togethers.

I drove that red one in Protland back in August. They had an 85 or 86 black 5 speed as well that I think they sold. They had those so packed in so tight in the showroom that there was black paint on the red car and red paint and the black car from the doors hitting the body. I didn't have any idea what to look for back then and only had a short period of time before our flight back to Colorado. I do remember them having to jump the car and either one of the windows or sunroof didn't work right. Central warning light was one the entire test drive and the dealer said that always happens after they get jumped.

I'll be looking to unload some Twists here in the near future. Let me know if you're interested and we can discuss further.

As soon as it arrives will be getting with the locals. Already in contact and on the email list...

It is a 5 speed, did not want an auto... got that in my A4 (which reminds me of my number one Audi gripe.. Why in blazes would they NOT put the DSG transmission in the A4 but will put it in the A3? HUH?)...

Unable to take pictures myself yet but here are some from the listing which has a ton of pics..

Thanks! Let me know when, price, etc. and if you have pictures of them on a 928 that would be great. Your opinion on fitment/offset?

I have some great looking Carrera wheels for sale (see my avatar) - look great on a red car.

Awesome car but shame its a 5 speed - you will still be able to keep up with us so don't worry.
