So... I'm guessing none of you want to hear what the weather's like in Northern California today?

Yup, sure is and it sucks.

Yesterday the wife got out in the pick'em0up-truck and made it out of the neighborhood to do some shopping. Solid sheet of ice on all the main roads. It's prob easier to move around today since there is 4-7 inches of snow covering it.

Bradley, come pick Roger and I up for breakfast in the morning.

Iv'e lived here 14 years and never seen it like this.
My pool is frozen over for the second day - never seen that before either.

Working here on quotes in the office - ***** on a key board.
No chance of office sex either as the kids are home as well.

Often May for me. Gravel road needs to dry up first.

Yay!

It's ok with me. I'm rather enjoying my 928 as a coffee table.

I have lived in Texas since I was 4. I don't know how anybody north of Texas can deal with this type of weather for months, not days. The summers here are brutal no doubt. But I can drive my car at least 360 days out of the year.....my air conditioner always works......in everything. Car, truck, work, home....its not optional here.....

I made it to work every day this week but today. My office chose to close today (which might be the first time that has EVER happened). Once the snow covered up the ice, most Texans said Phuc it

A co-worker and I went to Lacrosse Wisconsin in Febuary one year a while back for my job at the time. When I left DFW airport, it was 70 degrees, I was carrying my "coat" in my hand. I landed in Chicago, and our flight to Lacrosse was cancelled. We rented a car, and drove the rest of the way in a blizzard. I found out two things very quickly:

1. I did not own anything that could deal with those kinds of temperatures.
2. I was a *****.

Just got the truck warmed up enough so I could go get more LP, that was fun. The one thing I miss about living in Kansas, was driving in this stuff. Helps a lot that there isn't anyone on the roads right now, Texans do not know how to drive in this.
