Roger, I hope things settle and return to normal soon.
I have been watching the abnormal weather situation and if your not familiar with those conditions it can be like living on another planet.
Up here in the nations capital we turn four months of cold into a festival called "winterlude": http://www.canadascapital.gc.ca/winterlude/
Go for a skate on the worlds longest skating rink and eat some "beavertails".
I hope it thaws enough for Super bowl
All the best Rog.

DFW was hit by an ice storm on Monday night followed by snow. Most secondary roads were impassable until yesterday. We have not received deliveries from Porsche since Monday along with both FedEx and UPS. The wholesaler trucks made it through for the first time yesterday and I made some shipments last night.
Our employees have been unable to make it to work – luckily Laura can work remotely from home.
This morning we received another 3” to 5” of snow so the situation has gone from bad to worse. It maybe Monday before we get back to normal.
Please let me know of urgent requirements as I can drop ship certain parts from warmer States.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

You southern folk and your silly "you cannot drive in these conditions" talk........
At least if you knew how to properly prepare the roads, even a California boy knows this

Drifting
Hey Guys don't feel bad. Ice is Ice.
I went to college in Longview texas and because of the hot summers the roads have more oil on them and they are extremely hard to drive on with any snow on them.
Hell they are slippery when wet.
To see how the beaver gets us through the winter, watch below

Race Car
2 years ago I was driving in a hellacious snowstorm here in New York. I was doing 35 on the highway in the lane 3 of 4in a smaller SUV with AWD. I remember it was terrible traction for every car. I look in my rearview mirror and see a Toyota Camry easily hitting 60-70 mph and closing fast in lane 1 (far left). I look up again to watch the car basically lose grip and turn 90 degrees right into the divider. Watched the whole front end basically explode (not fire-just demolition)-fluid, smoke glass and the bounce back off the wall. Hit the OnStar and called 911. Idiots.

Boys,
Being the lesbian that I am, I have decided to remain in the nice cozy warm bed with my bride in the morning. I do not relish the thought of dodging ice chunks before dawn on the highway headed to the GTG breakfast. I was going to have breakfast with you guys, but I really don't like the damage that may result from the ice chunks hitting the spoiler et al.
See you when I see you.

Anyone ready for a little WRC SWEDEN? Practice makes perfect.
I always shut the damn traction control off, it just tries to help too much and spin recovery becomes non intuitive.
By the way my bmw 330 has a 6 speed and awd ftw! Beer run!

I also did not go to the breakfast. The roads in my area are still covered with ice and the snow cover just hides it. Not worth the risk.
