Wilwood Calipers/Cayenne 330mm rotor swap

well, i officially can confirm the limits of the S4 caliper. grinding away with my 4" cut off wheel, i finally know first hand why there is a limit to radius the S4 calipers..... AHHHH There is a assembly BOLT that connects the two sides together. forget about the cross over brake fluid tube, that can be moved out of the way. the actual structure can not be grinded down anymore than what is needed for a 332mm rotor. the only other way to do this, is to by the 964T turbo calipers. they look just like S4 calipers, but are radiused for the 13" rotor and i dont really know why. however, they work and im getting a set.
Here is the picture of the finished produce. 2 piece custom hat and 964T replacement oversized 13" rotor with the same S4, GTS offset.
(I just needed to make the larger spacers to push the calipers yet , out again, due to the 12.6" diameter GTS rotor vs the 13" rotor)
However, no hubcentric elements.... a little worrisome, but ill get over it as long as they stay centered on the hub via the little screws and the clamping force of the lug nuts.
I want to see Xschop make a set of centering rings for this cookie cut out hat center area.

As long as you got the 1.62" piston superlites, you have a close match to the factory MC with about 12-15% increase on throw and much better clamping force.
If you have an S car, I have the Integra 6 piston adapters on hand that fit the full sweep with deeper pads. Strictly for tracking IMO. The superlites are a DD upgrade.
The 136mm pcd off the hat screws don't require centering rings BTW.

Jeep SRT8 calipers
Hi,
lurking here forever and learned a lot about my 1980 928 5speed with 109k miles. Not yet needing to change the brakes but looking around for information I came across this amazing how-to.
Spent a couple of hours on ebay after reading this and noticed that jeep SRT8 have some good looking 4 piston brembos in the front. have you guys looked into these calipers?
Raul
