Default insta-intake job just to plug in the tps

Seems like a ton of work just to get that damn thing plugged in. I must have mis-routed the harness when I put the motor in last year because no matter what I did here, I ended up an inch short. SO I gave up and added 3" of wire to the harness, now it's an easy reach. This will sure help the idle.

Almost a first on this one, start and finish the same day, but as I was putting the airbox on the MAF popped out, so I gave up. I'll loosen up the clamp and put the rest back together tomorrow.

My back is sore.

I dont know which model you have, but on my S2 have managed to change the TPS without removing the intake . Took a lot of patience and delicate gymnastics with the original screws, all in all 1.5h job.

Yep... with the stock intake, I believe the harness is just barely long enough fro both the TPS and the ISV. One of the advantages of my SCer setup is that all that stuff is redily accessible. Everything else is impossible to get at, but I change out a TPS in about 3 minutes.

I had to reroute the ISV twice to get it to reach. Tonight I'll put the maf back in and the airbox on. Then I'll wait for things to thaw.

Hmm...I think I have the Tyco/AMP connectors to make a 3-pin extension. Is there any demand for such a cable?

Have you fixed the A/C yet?

Or attach an automatic ice maker to the roof?

That would be great, we ran out of ice at SITM a few times.
