what is the current issue? No spark? Double check the coils, wires and spark module plugs under the front of the hood

Since the CPS is sending the proper signal.....is the LH turning on the fuel pump? Is the fuel pump running, if not jumper it

Is the injectors getting a signal? Is the resistance of the injectors correct at the LH pin?

what is the current issue?
Do you mean current as in now, or current as in electricity?

Ok back at it today.
Checked resistence between pins on injector plug on street car with LH unplugged
and got a reading of 2.5 OHMS

Injector plugs on non runing car shows 16,000 ohms between pins.
What does this mean. Short? Could be the problem?. Where do I go from here.

Car now has spark. Why I don't know but it has it. Changed out cps and installed one of the used ones and now have spark. Cps that is in non running car now is putting out 2 volts AC and one in running running car puts out 3 volts don't know if that 1 volt difference matters but now I have spark. Not running yet but things seem to be going in the right direction.

What to do about the massive resistance in the injector harness?

If you had all the injectors except one plugged in the you have an open circuit.... each injector is about 18 ohms, so with 7 plugged in, which are conencted in parallel, you get the 2.5ohms you measured on the good car.

So the non-runner has an open circuit on that harness, or your meter wasn't quite making connection.

John I checked the non runner with all the injectors unplugged.I got the 16,000Ohm reading on all 8 plugs I will plug seven in and see if I get the same reading as I did on the running car . One injector lead looked as if it might be shorting so after I seperated the suspect wires is when I got the high Ohm reading, before I seperated the wires I was getting incosistant readings at each plug but in the 2.5-6 Ohm range. Electrical is a mystrey to me so I really appreciate your help.
Thanks
Sean

Cut the boots of all the injector plugs today all wires were cracked and shorting inside boots. I don't know how the thing ran at all given the number of cracked, broken and shorting wires. I will replace all the plugs post the results.

Thanks for your help

this makes sense...it should fix it...however a new wiring harness is the best answer!!!!!

It's alive! Shorted injector wires on 6 injectors if you can belive that.
Problem was intermitten and a bicth to find!Shorts were inside the boots and not visible, Seems obvious now! Ordered new harness from Carl today
Mark A dosen't have one. I will just replace the injector plug ends for now and replace the complete harness when it arrives ,before race season.
Thanks every body I could never have done this without your help.
Gratefully.

Sure can; after knowing what to look for, after the 3rd bad one I stopped looking.

Good idea replacing all plug ends until your harness is ready.

And good job persevering to the end.
