Brian used a buffer on his paint and it came out very good, deep, glossy. I should do the same, come springtime. I've only used a clay bar and wax on mine as yet. Love the anodized manhole wheels. I've got club sports on my car now but a set of manhole covers I got from Brian waiting in the garage. I may go to 18" turbo twists in the spring.

Great shot! Shiny black and only euro sidemarkers. Now all you have to do is a few upgrades. Since I have the same car - 85 euro - I am in the same boat and have been thinking about and planning these things for a while, so I am talking with you, not to you.

In that above shot - upgraded with Aero mirrors, Driving+Fog Hids, and some nice 18" wheels make that very car the best ride regardless of price (really less than 300K) that you can own/drive. (also a custom exhaust and upgraded suspension)

Aero mirrors - transforms the look

Lights - The H4's are the best light on any car and with Silverstar bulbs turn night into day keeping the cutoff. But the driving lights and fogs need an upgrade to hids see here - https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ject-pics.html

Wheels - 18" as wide as possible - either the new cups on chucks, the new possible phone dials, or the right turbo twists 2 different kinds

an old technical post about hid installation may or may not be helpful for fogs/drivers

Brad's car IS already set up. Sport seats, all leather, LSD, club sports... what else could he need?

Did you see Toofast's 16V X-pipe exhaust system? That's a nice setup, TV!

I really like the look of the Club Sports on Brad's car, but I know he wants something different. If my OE Manholes weren't in perfect condition, I would be making a deal with him for those Club Sports.

There seems to be more than a few Euro S's in New England - we should get them all together in the Spring.

Cheers mate! Thanks.

Do you think the '85-86 'headers' would make much of a difference to justify the cost? Are they made of stainless steel? I'm tempted...

I bet an X-pipe would wake things up (including the neighbors) but I like the sound of the Euro muffler as is. Ask Brian what he thinks.

I can understand wanting to keep it as is. I have all leather. LSD, and other things too, but I still need aero mirrors, hid fogs/drivers, and 18" wheels. I also intend to give it all new all leather, carpet, and other things.

The reason is I feel that the 928 design/look of the body and interior layout has not been beaten at any price. I want to bring it up to a top level equal with anything new in those area's I have mentioned.

I do not know of this system of toofasts, but as I have said before my euro is the best sounding 8 cylinder I have ever heard. Don't want to sound boastful but it is. Combination of the great euro engine and the all SS true dual exhaust I built. A 355 challenge car with straight pipes was pretty close though.
