Default 210 Watt XENON HID Headlight, Fog, & Driving Light Project Pics

Hi Guys,

Could not resist playing around with our new Xenon HID Kits and decided to give the 85 Euro some serious "Firepower".

I am installing one of our H4 BI-Xenon HID Kits for the headlights (Low and High Beam HID) and 2 of the H3 HID Kits in the Fog and Driving Lights. Each Xenon bulb is only 35 watts and the total of all six (headlight,Fog,Driving) gives me 210 watts of Pure white intense light!!

Here are some comparison photos showing the Left side with 100/130 Halogen Headlights , 85 Watt Halogen Fog Lights, 100 Watt Halogen Driving Lights VS the Right side with Xenon Headlights, Xenon Fog Lights and Xenon Driving Lights. Of course a photo can't really show the true difference (which is amazing) but here they are anyway.

First photo is Low Beam, then Low Beam with Fog, then High Beam with Fog and Driving Lights...

Hey DR... How come you get to drive around with your high beam AND fog lights on at the same time, and I get to blow relays?

Hi Andrew,

Because I got one of them thar fur'n "German Spec Versions" :-)

Don't worry, you were actually on my mind a few times as I was installing this system. I was thinking about making a Kit for that mod, just for you.

So David I guess this makes you the "brightest kid on the block" .... You might also consider putting one above your rear number plate ! All the Park Rangers will see is a blinding flash of light fly past. Rumors of UFOs in the mountains will be rampant. It was following the roadway but at speeds far too fast to have been a car ......

Hi Jim,
> You might also consider putting one above your rear number plate !

So is it possible to remove the foglamp assembly and replace it with a driving light assembly?

You should post a warning at the head of this thread about retinal burns if you look directly at those pictures without dark sunglasses! HID is in the near future for my 89, after I pay for the IC for my Supermodel.

Hey Dave, thats what the japanese gts looked like. Cool.

What is it about the euro's that makes all 3 possible?

What is the cost and difficulty of this set-up?

Thumbs up

Looks nice! I've been thinking about getting a hi/low H4 HID kit for my car, so I'de love to see what it does in real life. What does the light patern look like?
I also wonder how reliable the kit is. I guess time will show. Good luck!!!
