Ratts, one pin didn't have anywhere close to 139 before the threads gave out.

Looks like I need another lower rear pin.

Breath in & breath out... and remind myself I'm having fun.

Kurt, Considering where you were with this last year at this time, I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

It would be a long drive for me on a unproven system and parts in my car.

I don't know if I would be able to scam any more time off of work
here is how far I would have to travel
then turn around and head home.
I would really love to take the car for that kind of a run
but I don't think I will be able.

Mine had less than 20 miles on it from a complete tear down and resto that took almost 4 years the first time I went.

3994 KM is like what, a few hundred miles give or take.

BigDave had literally wrapped it up the night before we left and had zero miles on his rebuild. I don't think I could do that.

IIRC, BigDave had to turn around and go back? Something happened on the way down...

Speaking of BD. They just had their baby boy.

Default What,

5,000 mile round trip with a three day stop over.....should be broken in by the time you get home....
(My run is like maybe 40% of that).
Well, if you've got to work in Fort McMurray, them's the breaks. What's an extra two weeks off work anyway? You could alway get Malcolm and Ole to meet up with you when you stop in Edmonton to pull the chains and snow tires, and then at least have a convoy...but you'll have to get out before they shut down the ice highway for the season.....
