I got a new gift for the new year. Dewalt Boroscope. Magnetic Tip and Hook Tip. Detachable screen with recording function on SD card.

I am gonna play with this on Sunday. I'll see if there are any comm ports and I'll try to post some video if I can find a card lying around to put in there. Might have one in a camera or something.

Very cool...looks like it has pretty impressive resolution and detail. Do you have a model #?

Yes. Dewalt DCT410S1

$299 is the price. Cost to a dealer is $280 but you can't get it less than $299 because dewalt protects their retail pricing and if a dealer sells it for less they can lose their right to distribute Dewalt. I know this because my family owns a chain of 25 lumberyards here in the Midwest and we sell DeWalt. We sell for the same price as Lowes, Home Depot and Menards. Keeps the playing field level.

Soooo, does it fit down a spark plug hole? What is the diameter and flex of the head?

Drain your oil...and see if you can snake it up there and check out the back of the thrust bearing .....
