Still an active project.
I just finished selling/moving my house and moving my shop from VA to MI. Now trying to get caught up on everything.
What I suggest to people who inquire is to check on this thread from time to time. Any major updates will be here, including how and when to order.
Thanks for the continued interest!

JIm:

From what I can tell, your loyal followers have been/continue to be very patient. While I have no idea of what others need/desire, my interest is for my own use, and therefore I personally need some sort of solution in the near future.

I know of at least two different wheel makers with very similar products under consideration....one of which is literally weeks from producing their first units.

Consequently, some time frame of your schedule becomes desirable, as I, personally, would like to support your effort, if possible.

"Active project" is incredibly vague.

Does this mean two months? Six months? Another six years?

Additionally, you indicated, about a year ago, that your goals were to build the wheels that had been paid for/deposits given, however you were not going to build any additional wheels....

Now it sounds like you intend to build additional wheels for sale....presumably after the pre-orders are filled.

This leaves people, like me, hanging in limbo, looking towards other manufacturers for solutions.

What are your current plans regarding this?

Funny how these are among the great unloved in 944 land, probably because they replaced the Fuchs or ATS black center option. I've always loved them though and they captivated my attention as a kid. I also loved the slotted flat disc forged option. Two great wheels on the early cars!

That is odd. I think phone dials look even better on the 944 than they do the 928.

So, I should consider myself lucky for not getting a shirt! I was hoping that the ones who have invested were being updated in other ways but...... NOT SO MUCH.
