Careful there Jethro, or I'll tell uncle Jessie you've been playing with Daisy in the barn again.
Are we talking about the Louie Ott drop links?

Believe it or not, just last week there was a guy selling a set of 928SP swaybars on the DC Craigslist, of all places.
I just checked and his listing isn't there anymore..probably expired. IIRC he was looking for somewhere around $250 for the pair.
You might want to keep an eye on the DC CL to see if he relists.

I haven't tried any aftermarket bars... but the eibach's sure stiffened and flattened the ride in exchange for harshness over bumps (the stock boges just don't get it done), and I've got just a bit of understeer (which I like). I'm gonna try some bilstiens, that will help.
Bar wise... Carl's bar looks like the best engineering, rear bar about all you have are the drop-links. Let me go review some Carroll Smith... get back to you on other options.

okay my .02
For a street-track 928....leave the bars alone...maybe go to an adjusable rear bar mount or link to tailor the handling to your liking...street 928's tend to understeer quite heavy at the limit
Go to bilsteins on stock springs....DONE....or if you want a touch stiffer go to hypercoils....Seans 87 5 speed has bilsteins with 600-400 hypercoils and its a great street-track compromise
I don't like eibach-bilsteins on the street..its far to bouncy for me.....but the cut eibachs (even stiffer) on bislteins are GREAT on the Estate......
The single best advice is to drive or at least ride in a bunch of 928's with different suspensions to help you decide.... I drove in lots of different setups on track between bone stock with boges, bilstein-stock springs, koni on stock springs and bilstein-eibach, bilstein-hypercoil and koni-hypercoil.....I can honestly say I like the handling of the Estate the best.....
You can take the Estate out at DE if you like to see how it feels...maybe the DE at Thunderhill Jan 29th...you also can ride with Kibort (koni-hypercoil racer) or Sean (bilstein-hypercoil racer) at the same event too.....

As Roger said, I've got the DR bars.
On the 79, I have the Old DR bar (5-6yrs ago) and rear Louie Drop Links (Steroid kit). The car handles REALLY good. It also has the stock suspension that it came off the line with. 32 year old Boge shocks, stock springs. Again, the front bar, rear drop links transformed that car!!
The GTS.
I put Bilstein/Eibach springs/shocks on it. Used the "NEW" DR bar upfront. I have the Carrera III wheels (57 ET 8 inch), with 235/40 rubber. I have no rubbing issues whatsoever. The Same Bar on Roger's car (Wider Kinesis Wheels) Ground the living S##T out of the inside of his wheels.
In the rear after seeing the "New" rear DR bar and how it fit, I decided to go w the "Older" DR bar. (Also 5-6 years old) This bar has one of the Adjuster holes cut off it so it has decent clearance from the fuel lines on the pass side. I think the New Rear DR Bar is still sitting at Seans.
The whole setup makes the GTS handle flatter than a pancake. As for the Springs and Shocks, I can tell you that I "feel" quite a few bumps in the road. A lot of folks say that setup will "Rattle Your Teeth out". In my opinion, I wouldn't go that far, but yes, there is more "FEEL" to the road.
