Sway Bars...

Adding a front sway bar and doing nothing else will make the car understeer even more than it does. Adding the Ott rear links will liven up the handling but it won't flatten the front handling out any. SO, I'd probably do those two things together (really make the car corner flat and make it handle a little better too IMHO), and I would think about adding wider front tires.
I think there are several different big front bars out there. I'd just go with one from any of the big 3. I am not sure there is much difference between them all. Oh, expect to break your sway bar mounting points on your suspension after this...at least if you are an aggressive driver or take the car to the track. Know problem that...

Im looking to flatten _some_ of the roll, but not with spring rates...I DO like the current rates.
I have to decide between new Boges, or Bilsteins..but ADDING spring rate to a turn to help with the body roll, is what I was hoping to shoot for.

I think if you did the front and rear sway bar steroid treatment (I think that is what it is called and is available both front and rear) you might be able to save some money and get good comfort flatter cornering and better handling for the money and easier install too...I THINK anyway. Look online for sway bar steroid links or something like that and see what you find.

I'd suggest trying it with the new shocks first. I know they won't reduce the amount of roll much if at all, but they will alter the RATE of roll, which can feel like the same thing. My XJS felt like a different car with new Bilsteins all round - the stiffer shocks help the turn in and make the transition to roll much more controlled.

Beefier sway bars will require modification of the factory sway bar mount points. When used without modifying the existing ones, they tend to crack and come off

Cars ive had where this is an issue:
Mr2-Spyder
RX7-TT
RX8
..and so it goes. I have my fab guy do these on all the fun cars at home anymore..its on the standard list of places barely good enough for stock.
My RX8 clutch pedal..will even snap if not modified..eventually. Maybe developed by Lotus? (If it didnt break, its not light enough!)

IMHO there is no good alternative for a front sway bar right now. The one Carl sells requires a new starter to fit the bar; the one Roger was selling (not any more) had some cheap hardware that caused problems and the one Dave Roberts has requires a redesign to avoid hitting the wheels. The Devek bar was the best, but they are no longer available. That leaves you with the steroid kits as the best option (and they do work).

James is correct regaurding both the front bar and the rear steroid links. However doing a front bar and rear steroid links will not really correct the understeer problem on a 928. The biggest issure limiting turn in and for that matter braking is the front tire size. Cars with 225's on the front are very undertired. My car has runs a 255/40 17 on the front on 9.5" wide 60mm offset rims and that has had a huge impact in reducing the understeer. I have a 928 Sp front bar (I strenghtened the mounts) which I run using the middle hole to attache the link. I had to add an additional rack bumper to each side to keep the tires from rubbing on the inner body work. You gain a bit of turning radius but it not noticable when turning. On the rear I have the Ott links combined with 928MS mounting plates. Turn is is very sharp and the car does not understeer. Like I say tires made the most difference, I actually will go to 265's on the fron when I need to replace the current tires.

928s already have good beefy anti sway bars. The springs are too soft. New shocks will also help resist body wallow.
Wider front rubber is the weakest link in how fast you can go and it will help eliminate understeer.

Are there any good sway-bar mount reinforcements on the market? I have my car down to a bare frame and thought now would be a good time to prep for them if any welding is involved? I have seen the ones that 928 Motorsports sell, but was wondering if there are any alternatives out there?
Cheers!
