Mark, thought I would share this info. I'm mocking these up for a 948 Hybrider using 6-pot monoblock Corvette Z06 calipers and confirmed these 350mm Cayenne rotors are the exact same offset as the 330mm Cayenne rotors. The outer rotor sweep technically moves outwards by 2mm as they are 34mm thick compared to the 330mm dia. rotors that are 32mm thick. And off course require the same centering rings.

27.4 LBS? Do they make them in a drilled version? The 993TT front rotors are 20 lbs. They are 324mm dia. if I remember correctly.

I weighed the slotted Cayenne 330mm rotors at 23.7 lbs.....These are really overkill unless you are a track-***** on a budget. The GT3 guys are running these ATE brand rotors and are reporting good results. They are cheap enough to have a spare on hand.

bigger is always better......

but seriously....unless you are RACING with an over 300whp 928...S brakes are just fine....and much cheaper to run.....

But this is all for the axial caliper mounting on the early S cars and nothing about the radial mounted brakes on the later cars?

I finished the Z06-951 adapters for the Cayenne 350mm rotors and was curious what the 928-S spindle/hub would look like with these 14" rotors and 6 pots......Looks like about 2-3mm of caliper trimming (these are monsters and have like an inch to chop-off LOL)....

the problem i havent solve yet, (because I want to use the 350 rotors) is that the offset adapter will be hard to make work, and the S4 calipers might require too much grinding on the edges to accomodate the 330MM rotors.

yep, 324mm diamter and they do weigh more becuase they are bigger, but thats what it takes to have bigger brakes. Unless you do the hat and rotor thing.
dont worry about 7 lbs, that 14lbs rotating on fairly small diameter. put it this way, if it was 7lbs and 18" diameter, the effect HP-wise would only be double its weight as if it was in the car. 14lbs for both, would cost less than 1hp, so not a big deal.

Was there no better caliper choice? There is a reason those things are so cheap. The corvette guys dont even want them on their track cars!

This set-up will be used on a strictly track driven 948. And the guy will run the aftermarket single pads (instead of 6 factory padlets). The padlets cause piston cocking and pad taper. The Single pads have more pad area as well. This is too much brake even for my daily commute. I'm going to stick with the Cayenne 330 x 32mm rotors and will install 6-pot Wilwoods when spring arrives since I have billet adapters already designed for them. Not sure what compound I will run yet.

I cant wait until scot gets his car out on the track with the new 330 rotors!

the hawk HT10s , but probably going to HT14s will be the hot ticket i imagine.

after punishing pads for many years, im thinking even pagid blacks are a lttle weak.
im thinking its worth going to the DCT70s next time around. the black racing pads dont squeel on the street and have plenty of braking power stone cold. that doesnt seem right, so its STILL too streety for me, contrary to porsche using them on the supercup series racers.
