We did Jonathan (kelanel)'s car a few weekends ago. Used Roger's kit (I think...) with blue loctite holding the studs. The nylok nuts were torqued lighter than I thought correct at first, but the crush on the sillycone gasket must be right cuz it's dry under there. The nyloks won't loosen on their own and the gasket won't shrink, so his oil dribble should be a thing of the past. I'm just not seeing a need for tabbed lockwashers when the nyloks on studs work this well.

I have a brand new gasket silicon gasket available for someone.

It's brand new in the plastic bag with instructions and I believe water hose grommets.

I don't like studs, PITA to work on in a pinch and require over an inch of drop down clearance. Why not us the standard Porsche washer with nylon inserted bolts? They are good for at least two insertion/extracts and stay put?
