The LS1 has some work to see 500 RWHP at 6 psi. It is not stock. He probably has some type of heads/cams/exhaust work to get to that level with only 6 PSi. He will need to start with around 355 RWHP to see 500 RWHP at 6 psi. To double the HP in a car with everything
else constant, you need 14.7 PSI.

used to live in our area and had some nice running Superstock drag cars back in their days of drag racing.
They build some nasty SRT8's and you don't want to pull up to a blown SRT8 as they put out well over 700rwhp on pump gas.
Even thou I like 928's and also had some Chysler products they are still more Hemi!
