Check this out. A fellow Rennlister told me about this product years ago and was raving about how great it was. I've never been able to find it until now. It looks like it would be great for the 928 if the quality is there.

It needs about 4 more inches of lift to be perfect, but I like the idea.

It has been listed as "temporarily unavailable" for quite some time on the Sears site.
Have you tried to buy one locally?

There was a system available a few years back much like this one. It was much more expensive. And I was never sure I wanted to trust my life to those stands. But you could augment with a couple of more rugged stands, I suppose as backup.

The front of the jack, secures the base of the stand.
The top of the stand has that candybar shaped plate that sits over the tip of the jack that goes up, as you jack it.
As the jack stand post goes up, a self slip & lock mechanism allows the jack-stand post to get longer (it has a couple of telescoping sections) in what look like about 1/2" increments. When thats all set, you just collapse the jack portion, and the stand portion stays in place as you pull out the jack itself.

Astro Pneumatic (I think) has combo jack/jack stand, but I suspect the best option for the 928 are the Liftbars and a conventional jack and stands.
Another good alternative is to make an adapter board that fits I think on the front cross member so a conventional jack lifts the whole front end and stands can be placed easily.

It would solve the problem of only 1 jack point each corner. Some times the jack and the stand gets in each others' way.
I no longer have this problem since I finish installing the Maxjax lift. Now I need to sell the lift bar.

I just jack the front using the a-arm mounting points, flop stands in the front right & left jack points (this takes use of the jack 3 times to get it high enough) then go to the back and lift on the crossmember.
Liftbars would be nicer though.
