Default Show me your ride height.

Just finished instaling Bilstien/Eibach combo on '86.5 and wanted to see pictures of different ride heigths.
I have equal numbers of turns(threads showing)left vs right; front measures 140mm and rear is 155mm,
left vs right differs by 2mm to 3mm max.

Thanks

Lookin' good Bob. Is the front set high so you can navigate around Beantown without catchin' cows?

Jim, roads are rough here in Mass and Maine, so I keep front at upper end of spec. Potholes don't help either as you can "sink" pretty quick and if you run low you can bottom out quick.

I don't have the measurements from the correct points, (thanks Dr. Bob) but that is 24-3/4" to the top of the fender well. I can't get one finger between the tire and the fender. The front spoiler, less than three finger to the ground. Looks good to me but just too low to function on city streets. New ride height on the winter list for me.

There are flat spots on the underside of the front and rear suspension that are the reference points.

It's been a LONG time since I posted the yardstick numbers at the fenderwell edges. And they are just that, yardstick numbers. For actual adjustment, please use the correct measuring points.

In the front, there's a flat pad in the middle of back lower control arm bushing cap. For the rear, there's a flat pad on the rear lower conrol arm bushing bracket. I made a set of straight wire stick gauges from welding rod or wire hanger materail, cut to various lengths using a heavy-duty pliers. I made them im 5mm increments from 150-200mm, plus a pair that are exactly the target heights for front and rear. There are certainly a lot of other ways to get that height, but the simple wire gauges with masking tape 'flag' labels on them are simple to make and simple to read.

Ride height can be seen in my avatar. No idea of the setup. The car was previously owned by a gentleman who raced it at Sebring so she was setup for the track. No idea what was done to her but she handles well and doesn't bottom out and isn't harsh!
