Hey Tony,

I'm starting to think that maybe it would have been cheaper to just buy another car to start with

If you don't ever plan to drive at night and you like that look than do what you want with your car. This mod as done in your picture, would by necessity, delete either the fog or driving lights our cars now have and with the one slim line headlight you would also lose the high beam feature. Now if you want to give up both the fog and driving lights you can mount twin slim line lights in their place. Saw a S4 at Devek days years ago with a Chevy truck light in place of the fog/driving lights.

It's a look that's been done, but not my cup of tea. Thee pop up headlights are one of the features that make our cars unique, dated, but unique and I like them.

The bumper mount lights are too low to be effective or legal. Smooth fenders look nice but it is not functional.

I think the 928 looks "blind" without its round headlights. They are a big part of its character.

The only alternative I ever liked were the projection lights on the green 928-4 (4-seater with two doors) that Ferry Porsche got for his 75th birthday in 1984.

It does not look terrible, it looks a bit like 850/840i BMW .

I do not like the square headlights they used, they go against the whole style of the car. I dont even like the factory square fog lights for that matter.

I have no interest in this mod though... Good luck with what ever you decide.

I vote no. I notice people staring at my car either in awe or ridicule at the lights, but either way they are staring.

I vote NO! The headlights on the 928 are one of the coolest features of the car.

It changes the shark look, becomes less stylish. I say no.
