I think the pop up head lights are the single most dated feature of the 928. I don't like them, but I don't know of a good solution for them.

Perhaps if most driving is daytime use, a shiny set of racing covers would look better.

Ya..some states actually check for those things..but it'll take one enterprising cop to wonder just enough, and all hell breaks loose to 'fix it'.

Guys he isn't doing it!!!!

I love the lights. Every time they swivel up I smile.

An entire generation of people are out there now that have never seen a flip up light, but I've never heard anyone say "man, that's so dated". They usually ask to see them work!

I vote to keep them... but I think I'm a bit late on this one.

Ive only had a 928 for...two months.

And I get that request at -least- once a week at work...getting gas, etc.

Dated is nostalgic, not necessarily 'out of touch'.

I've been thinking about it for years, but haven't seen anything that I like the looks of that works and is legal.

Try it, if you don't like it, swap the fenders with a stock set and keep some extra paint.

I wouldn't mind replacing the lights with 850 style pop ups...really cool
