Doh! The cross-drilled rotors would go on sale right after I recently purchased them.

I will say I am very pleased with these rotors combined with Hawk ceramic pads. Smooth, powerful, no noise, and very little brake dust. It's also tough to complain about his everyday prices. Thanks Rog!

So how are the drilled rotors vs. solid? I think I've read that drilled do nothing, but crack faster...

No performance difference, just look really cool. Cracking seems to only occur on track driven cars.

Slotted rotors are preferred for track duty. In fact, not one car on the podium for the 24 Hours of Daytona had cross drilled rotors. I would use them for street duty though.

IIRC, the cross-drilled Zimmerman aren't drilled.. they're cast holes.
