Oil makes up that extra 98lbs that are missing.

Twice. But count all the rest of the pills in the bottle, three times, to make sure you took only 1.

After enough stress to kill an entire army, I try not to take pills, because a) I can't remember where the bottle is, b) I can't remember what to do with it even if I find it, and most importantly perhaps c) I never worry about it as I never remember in the first place, that I'm supposed to do something related to pills.

Rob,

Did you by chance weigh your car as well? I am curious as I am aiming for a 3,300 lb curb weight for my 1990 GT shell project. Wondering how that measures up to a "real" GT/GTS. Factory lists curb weight at 3505 lbs.

Cheers!

Godzilla is 3278. Seats, AC, rear AC, spare, lighter stereo equipment, no other real changes.

Surprisingly enough, I get 3506 for the GTS:

Hard to read but the total is in the center of the screen, 3506, with 3/4 tank of gas. Gets heavier if I sit in it....

Thanks Heinrich and Rob!

Maybe I am pushing my luck, but did anyone weigh the PSD unit?

Cheers!

It so happens that Rob has a spare sitting there waiting for him to weigh it.

Yes, I just picked up a spare PSD unit that came with the GT tranny and TT I bought from Larry. Will weigh and report back this evening.

Have other car interests other than Porsche. I've never seen such variance over a measurable quantity than engine and auto trans weights. Common engines like Ford FE's have so many posted weights it isn't even funny. Start to talk about the weights of Chevy Turbo 400's and Ford C-6's and there are more different numbers than you can imagine. This isn't like opinion stuff, there should be one answer. I'm a believer on our posted number, as the method and tester ring true. I've seen the list with the Merlin aircraft engine, etc. and those weights all seem inconsistent and suspect (with bell, no bell, alternator, coolant/no coolant, etc.). Wish other brands had more scientific posters.
