If they are the platinum finish (goldish) those are rather rare.....not especialy desirable just not common.
Jim, I still don't think that is the right word for that color... If you send a set of wheels to wheel enhancement for refinish the platinum is the silver anodized finish, not the bronze/gold color. Also since platinum is silver shouldn't anything called platinum BE SILVER in color?
Jim is quite correct the bronze finish can not be done in the US anymore, and is neither common nor particularly desirable. Not sure it can be done anywhere, but wheel enhancement (who probably refinish more Porsche wheels than any other place in the country, or at least pass them on to the people actually doing the work) say they CAN NOT provide that finish anymore.
I would not try to repair your wheels. You can find a set for free, or close to it, most likely. I really like the manholes personally, but it seems to be a buyers market big time. Better ways to spend time and money.
