Default Looking for 7-slot wheels

I am looking for used 7 slot "manhole cover" wheels for my '84. Some jerk in a Dodge Ram decided to take a corner in my lane, I swerved to avoid him and I caught both passenger side wheels on the storm drain which sticks out farther than the curb. Unable to get his plate #. Nasty bit of rash on my wheels which used to be in pretty good shape. I am in Connecticut and I would like to deal locally if someone is getting rid of a set of 2 or 4. Mine have the normal offset, they are not the wider dished style.

If they are the platinum finish (goldish) those are rather rare.....not especialy desirable just not common.

Really? Now I am really pissed. If it wasn't for some brake dust deposits on the inner edge of the slots, they were in pretty good shape. Looked pretty good with a bit of tire shine on them. GOSH I hate people who can't drive.

Vasoline is what Porsche recommends for the "shine"on those anodized wheels.

Oh right, I remember reading that in the Owner's Manual. I'll give it a try sometime.

I have a set of four. They are chromed. In descent shape. Have Perellis on them. Been sitting stacked for quite some time. One has gone flat, not sure why. Tires look OK, but like I said, these have been sitting for maybe 10 years. Probably better off just buying the rims. I have no idea what it would cost to remove the tires, pack the rims up and ship them.

I would be willing to take them somewhere and have the tires removed and then drop the rims off at a UPS store for them to package and ship to you.

I need to make some room for my next project, so I'm open to offers.

PM me if yiou are interested. I'll try and get them out of the corner and snap some pix.

Somehow my pictures failed to upload. Can wheels be repaired? Since only the outer decorative bead is chewed up in a few spots on both right side wheels, I am thinking that may be a better option. How much would it cost? BTW thanks for all the offers, I may end up just buying used ones if they can't be repaired.

you could tap that out with a properly sized dolly,
then use some sand paper to smooth things out,
mask off the rest of the wheel were your working,
so you dont create more scratches
