I'm not seeing a reason why any **** wouldn't work. I'm going to buy a nice cheaper **** and try to make it work.

Hey Phil,

actually I've been out of those shifters for a few months now and what I sold to Roger is gone too. Reason for going ahead and making our own.

Keep an eye out for some new threads on the subject. We have a new partial insert coming out as well that will tie all of this together, with the new *****, boots etc.

Paul

Carl has a kickdown "enhancement" that will work with the side button and a top button shifter. It's just me, but the top button seems less ergonomic.

Picked up Jager eng'g carbon fiber shifter back 5-6 years ago, don't know if he still carries this model. Very comfortable and classy looking IMHO...

Bob, your car looks WAY to clean man! What a beauty and you are correct that shifter looks quite at home in your car.

Paul, I can't wait to see what is next!!

Okay, I've read through a number of automatic shifter **** threads. This may be a dumb question, but my Shark is only the second automatic transmission car I've owned (the first being my Cayenne): Will any aftermarket shifter work, as long as it includes some way to depress the lock button? I want a simple black pistol grip in some sort of plastic and metal, and I don't want or need to spend a pile of money for it.

Hehe, I had to click "see ignored persons post" to see the comments by one of our fun guys.

4 years on mine and still love it. Only had one person think it was a 5 speed and it was entertaining watching him try to find neutral.

The color is wearing off on the top of mine as I think that it was a spray gray job instead of using vat dyed leather, but still, I love it. I'll get it re-covered when I send my steering wheel in for the same thing.

I also have one of Jager's shift *****. Mine is polished aluminum and leather.

I'll trade for a stock T handle, but I won't be back in Vegas till the 1st week of November. If anyone wants to trade let me know.
