You better be glad that is a 5spd or I would steal it from you my boy! This car is going to be AWESOME! If I put those same wheels on my EURO85 we will have twins! Outside AND in! Red/black! We need to get them together for a photo shoot! Maybe we can get some hot girls to jump in the pics too and get your wife behind the lens since she is a better photographer than me!

We will see. Gotta get time to go home though. Dogs won't fit in a 928!

Just bring you and I'll shoot the pics then! Or if you are to busy, just put the car on a trailer and send it my way! I'll take care of it!

That is a sweet vette. I am saving up to buy a C6 in a couple years. We will see which car I end up keeping.

It was a nice car. But it still wasn't a 928.

Jon,

Isn't this your car back when Mark still owned it?

So do we have a date for pickup? Can't wait to see pics of you and the car together!

Not yet. I'm figuring sometime next week. Mark is busy with a few other things besides the car but I'm sure he'll give me a heads-up probably today or tomorrow.

Well, I've had the thrilling task of tax planning before the end of the year and it is taking up quite a bit of time, so that has held me up unfortunately. Worst case scenario, the paint is done next week but will need to let it cure over Christmas for the final buff and finish work between Christmas and New Year's. That's not something I want to rush. I assure you I'm not sitting around twiddling my thumbs! I just can only stretch myself so thin.

By the end of today, the car will be essentially finished other than the front seat installation, bleed the brakes (might finish that today), align the front end (toe is out of whack, quick fix with laser alignment), paint, and RMB. The only big time-consuming job in there is the paint, but most of the parts have been prepped. We went on and stripped the bumper covers down completely to re-prime, as they had been repainted a few times and I didn't want to paint over those layers of old paint. I'll have to pull the door panels back off to get the door handles back on (going to paint them) and to remove the front window tint, but the interior is finished otherwise.

I'll get some photos for you guys tomorrow probably, once I have something interesting to show!

Sweet, are there holes in the front bumper for a plate? I think those should go missing…

Thanks again Mark!

Yep, I'm a step ahead of you... already planned to fill those ugly buggers. Back to work!

Good man!

The wife wanted to make sure I let you know (again) that we aren't in a hurry. So, take the time you need, and I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait!
