Question Front spring replacement

I just bought a set of 87 on Weltmeister 270# front springs
I am about to swap out with Bilsteins and the new springs

The springs on my 80' are stock and as we know the car sits about 2" to high. Will these springs and shock combo solve the problem or will it stay the same. Hate to take it all apart and not see a change.

Your '80 probably does not have ride height adjustment in the front. Assuming you setup up your bilsteins with the later hardware, you should gain that ability. I don't know if the Welmeisters are shorter by default. Eibachs are.

The front's are not adjustable (as per stock) like the rears.
I have not done the work yet, trying to anticipate a cold beer or taking it apart once I see little results if any at all.
I guess the options are to by Eibachs or the adjusters.....?
Does anyone know the standard length of the stock springs?
