Cool. It's hard to find people to work on your car that aren't basically frauds.

Is that a cowl induction type hood scoop, that is, feeding from the windshield base? Are you going to leave the original hood in there under this new scoop and just cut the air cleaner holes to it? Also, do you have photoshopped images of what it'll look like painted?

I think the scoop, ITB',s and bigger cams will make a ton of power, by the way. Without the hood scoop, it would be really hard to get a decent flow path in there. With the scoop, you can put an air filter assembly there that will flow gangbusters.

Looks great so far Sterling!

I too am wondering how the unseen part of the existing hood will be modified.

What is that in additional clearance??? Looks like 2 1/2" or 3"?

So Sterling: When ya gonna REALLY mod your 928 and make it look like your photo-chopped avatar instead of this small-time stuff? BTW, I think the hood will look great.

Sterling, what city is Wild Card in?? It seems like I stopped into his shop one day when I was on the road, but I could be thinking of someplace else....

That's the car from "Corvette Summer", starring Mark Hamill and Annie Potts!

cover the ITB with plexsiglass and have it fit in an opening of the hood so all can see the bad boy under the hood then surround it with led's .

Sterling, if you put it back together you might actually have to drive the car and you CERTAINLY DON'T WANT THAT!!! You have owned that car for 13+ years now, have you even had it on the road one full calendar year yet?!

Looks good Sterling..Similar to the hood I have. Please keep us updated.

Are you using the front and the windshield pressure points ?

I was able to make an adapter that fits directly onto the original air box base.
