Yes, but there is much more leather on the horns than on the chaps.
Pretty well engineered by a local custom autobody shop - Orlando Autobody, Mesa, AZ. Custom reinforced bracket and horn plates. Does not flex, wobble or shake at speed.
There is some blocking of the light swath. I don't plan on driving in the dark so should not be an issue. There is no interference in the up/down of the lights.

Yep, driving to Texas with horns in situ. Should hold up well but they can be removed if necessary.
Donald, I will need a brew or few once we get there. Not too much though, doctor's orders.
