So do I, I had allot of fun with Roger and the gang up in Dallas. I haven't met a group of gear hear / grease monkeys that have a better rapport with one another. And they welcomed me with open arms.

Would I think any differently of you because you like or dislike Texas? NO it makes no difference whatsoever.

Nope, flames are not photoshopped. They are Duplicolor Shield Temporary Bra Paint.

I have a can of that stuff somewhere. I was going to use it to paint silver wheels black and not have to commit to it.

Have you washed the stuff off yet? I always wondered how easy/difficult the removal of that stuff was.

Haven't washed the bra stuff off yet, will likely wait till I get home from 3rd Coast.

Their temporary color stuff on the 944 Turbo washed off easily at the car wash.

You guys are hilarious. Been fun reading this thread and the comments.

RKD please definitely provide more details about this duplicolor temporary bra. Specifically can you post a few close up pictures of it? Also maybe when you're washing it off can you post some pictures? And how thick is the application and does it really protect the paint? Sorry for the questions, stuff like this always interests me and thus far the only thing I've found that really protects the front end is a vinyl bra and clear bra but vinyl is nice because it can be removed.

Dan love the horns and smart move switching out the hoods. How is the color match on the new hood?

Googled where a guy did a test comparing the temp bra to painters tape. Protected the same as the tape, but did not come off when gets wet from rain. Like painter' tape, it's not 100% against stone chips, but not too bad. A problem is that people can't seem to resist touching it and it easily wipes off. I put 2 cans on, cost me under $20.

Kinda moot as I discovered Duplicolor just discontinued it. I called to find out why they recommend not leaving it on more than 3 days. The reason was the paint not covered might sun fade where the covered area would not. He also told me about it being discontinued due to lack of sales. The next day it was gone off their web site. I may have to call and see if there is any back stock I can pick up for future road trips.

Took me 3 hours to tape off and paint.

Looks like an awesome time. Those horns are the ****.

BTW, I just Googled Duplicolor temporary paint/bra and got a lot of places, including Amazon, still selling it.

The irony is you came across as a happier individual when you lived in Texas

What next in your transformation? Bad plastic surgery?

Luckily, Dan got rid of the California plates and switched the car over to Arizona plates, the instant he got home, to Phoenix. Driving through Texas, with those horns might get you mugged, if you had a California plate. He has a chance with the Arizona plate.
