OK well, I really do not want a 350Z chiefly because it is too small. I would much prefer a 928 because it is just plain awesome, and meets my needs. On the other hand, some are constantly warning that it is a huge PITA even when compared to a 944. In my judgment, a car that desperately needs shop time more than a couple times per year is what I would call a "problem car" and I would probably soon dump it.
This is my daily driver after all, and when it is in the shop I have to rent a car or something. I cannot own a car that is in the shop for 6 months out of every 12, no matter how "addicted" I get to it.

Yeah... I've seen your pics. Way better talent on the Z side (I think the red one is a GT-R, but she's cute).

I rest my case.

(But then, that's not why I bought my 928... )

Oh, I forgot that this was him. I was worried that this was one of those people interested in a 928 b/c it's a cheap Porsche.

Yes I here you even though my 928 has never broke down away from home, I would not use it as a daily driver.
Now don't get me wrong, I drive it every time I leave the house if I am not going for a shopping spreer (I mean if she) Thats why I also have a truck.
My 2007 tundra is my off weather, haul bottles, buy furnerature daily driver.
Or drive over the last by-law mini-van that gave my car a parking ticket.

get what ever turns your crank, but I would go with something other then a 928 for a daily (being your situation) and if you have a garage and time to play with one,.... a 928 to restore.

By your definition, I think you might be frustrated with most of them.

Its like having pets. Lots of care and feeding, usually in a rythym, not always.

If you acquire the irrational "love affair" most of us have with these cars, working on the car will all be part of it. If you are unable to do the work yourself it will most definitely take away some of the enjoyment of a 928 & you will have to set aside funds to pay someone to maintain it for you.

928's: you either 'get it' or you don't.

Well I'm a Canadian who now lives in Fresno, so I sympathize, but also I was talking about 05 and older cars. Anything later than 05 or with less than 50K miles here will cost you closer to 20+K for a 350Z.

And you can forget getting into a decent G35 for less than 23K in the Fresno area.

WTF? Don't have to be an *******. I was just voicing my opinion. Just because I think your models look like crap and the photography is amaturish at best and I don't feel like buying one of your calendars does not make me a bad guy. I'm not the only one who shares this opinion.

^^^^
You so routinely prove you are an ***, just as you have once again, that I need say nothing more. You are so good at making friends and influencing people...you could just say nothing but instead you have to tear people down to make yourself feel manly I guess...you may be the saddest person ever...just pathetic...I just try and bring a little joy and fun to the 928 world. I don't even profit from the calendar, I just try to break even and make a few people happy along the way.

On this list..in post 77..

-#1, feh. Nice lady. The high roller sugar daddy look doesn't fly w/me.
-The honest smile in photo #3
-Less hairspray, and the bleached highlights are too harsh for #2..and if you're gonna wear tight fake leather like that, use it..your hiding all the curves that they're made for.
(skipping the video)
-The long black skirt, shoes, and definition fully clothed in #4..if the camera was just 6" more to the left..you'd catch a most important feature..
-In #5, the honesty of the smiles sell the top three. The athlete in front-right position is just awesome. The tall one rear left is the GND with another honest face. Third place rear right..key..SMILE…try to enjoy your job as my model..ok? And front left..anything she was selling she lost with the forced smile, and ghetto pull down the short bit…pullin the shirt extra down and out tries to sell more than what I 'preciate in a model as well.

But hey…im picky. Models to me..have to sell authenticity.
