When the 944S2 spring is used in a 928S4 head the lower retainers from the '85-'86 928 32vS have to be used. With your springs, will the 928S4 owners be able to keep the stock lower retainers or will we have to still swap out for the earlier version?

The stock S4 setup is only .002" shorter (more preload) than the rates listed on the website.
So the stock lower retainers should be able to be used.

And in case of mattipuh's 968 which has longer stock spring installation lenght we have several 928 engines worth of extra lower plates available locally and can take 968 plates as exchange.

Burning Brakes
Hi to everyone that participated in the group buy . Just talked to Lindsey Racing they are close to ordering the springs from the manufacturer , whom has gone ahead and made the springs . They need payment so they can ship , in aprox 2 weeks . SOOOOOOOOOOOO TIME TO PAY .
