Default I think mudhoney was the first to sing touch me I sick

New addition,
Price was right could resist
87 s4 auto marineblau metallic
Its really complete and needs more interior love than anything. No record or rumor of Tb/wp replacement so I don't think I'll be driving it to 3rd coast

Nice car...and the El Camino, too. I wish my '72 Ranchero chrome trim looked like that good!

Whats the best way to tell the condition of the TB? Wondering if it'd be worth a calculated risk. As fortune would have it I landed in 928 country and Third coast is a 45 min drive from me

Congrats! Marine Blue is an awesome color. Everyone who has ever seen it says "I love that color" and then they say, its like a "grey/blue color" or "navy blue" or "purple" isn't it. Of course the persons response depends on the lighting. Here's a pic showing the range of colors Marine Blue has....

Fast and dirty is just remove the intake tubes and look thru vent holes. on top of cam covers. Flashlight and you should be able to see gross cracking, frayed edges, tracking. Make sure somebody didn't disable the ground circuit and you should be good to go, til you get kempf tool. It takes about an hour to remove dist. and passenger cover to check tension and get a good look. Congratulations.

Thanks Steve
I was thinking a visual inspection may suffice. It's got new hoses everywhere and looks to have had some work done down below. Fairly certain the TB has been replaced but didn't know if you had a good tension test w/o the kempf tool

Hey, welcome to the shark tank! ... you'll have to bring your car to the monthly Austin GTG (second Saturday each month, next one will be Nov 13th, after 3rd Coast).

That is a great color, btw!
