Easier than that. the Max Jax lift rolls into place on built-in casters. Biggest effort is placing the anchors. I happen to have a nice drill for concrete, a vacuum for cleaniong the dust out, and a BFH for setting the anchors.
Doesn't mean we can't have a party. Just can't hitch the horses in the driveway, too messy. That Amish stuff isn't what it's cracked up to be I guess.

They are in the online Costco website, with delivery included. About $1900 plus tax.

I’ve received several PM’s expressing an interest in pursuing a group buy. Next week I’ll find out if we can beat the Costco deal I think we’ll need at least a minimum of 5-10 buyers.
So if you’re considering the purchase of this item than send me a PM and I see what we can do.
Best and happy motoring

They'd get stuck at the gates, have to climb the hill, no space to turn around, coyotes and bobcats would harass the horses, they would get lost if they only speak American English since they couldn't ask for directions. The public street where my house sits is actually 60 feet straight down from my back yard. It's a tad less than half a mile clip-clop from here around and up my driveway. That public street has been "closed for construction" for almost seven years now, preventing access except via a steep little fire department right-of-way access through a neighbor's yard. There's a good reason why I keep the car at full ride height.

I presume MaxJax does not mind sharing this since it helps their sales. As I said before, I should have bought this lift years ago. After considering every other lift option, I stumbled on this lift on the internet. Best option for a low ceiling garage, easy to fit, relocatable and affordable. And the construction is excellent quality. It had to be imported into Europe, and I converterd it to 220v 50Hz operation....

I spoke with the Dannmar folks today and they are willing to match the group buy price they gave to the Corvette guys if we get a group of 5 or more.
Sofar I've 2-3 PM's of 982 RL's that have said they are interested so for those that are serious please PM me with your phone number or email address and I'll get back to you.
Price included freight is $1800.00 (Cal. folks will have to pay sales tax)

Andrew, Dr Bob I've had 2 more interest but they haven't confirmed I'll wait throught this weekend to see if any body else wants to get in and talk to the MAX JAX folks on Monday. I'll have them do seperate checks (make payments arrangements directly with you).
Dr Bob I'll send you a PM in regards to CA sales tax.
Have a great weekend

Folks, it's time to step up if you have an interest in saving the $100 plus the sales tax. Lots of enthusiasm when the discussion started, lets get it together. Buying it through Costco includes tax if they have a store in your state, while getting it as part of this group will only cost the tax if you live in Cali. Tax here will be almost $150, for example.

I was thinking that we should spread the joy but don't know the protocol. So far it's a few folks who are longtime friends, sharing a benefit. More than that and it starts to look like business.
