Default Took a trip to the dragstrip

Went out to the local strip with a friend before the end on the season. Best pass was 13.07 @ 109 mph. Most of my passes were mid low 13's. Had 3/4 tank of gas did basically nothing other then mash the gas and hang on.

Lots of fun!

Only track that I have ever been in Canada was Cayuga,Ontario
Not sure if any other tracks in that area?

Funny my best time was scratching for traction all the way through 1st all the other runs where I hooked up better were 13.3 - 13.4.

60 ft - 2.21
330 ft - 5.86
1/8 - 8.64 @ 90.22

The ratio gap into 3rd was killing my time a bit too was making the shift at about 6500 to try and maximize my acceleration.

do you have the 2.2 final drive?
Turbos, nitrous, and 335's will fix that problem

Cool air makes good powaar!

Having just enough slip to keep the engine happy usually produces the best et and mph. Any pull down of the engine will hurt the et. Spinning the tires more than desired can show a good mph but hurt the et. It's a science.

I know the traps don't lie, but I've actually seen this car with some throttle applied.
Somewhere, somehow, you're not hooking up.
Just my $9.28.

Cold track= $hitty traction. I have been to the track in a weather like this and it was hard to hook up. With LSD it was downright dangerous when the rear end started to go sideways at half track.

Ted and I are about the same but if traction is lousy, its' very hard to get fast times. I think Ted did a really good job consider it was only +16C at noon.

That sounds like a lot of fun!

Last year Tony (Toofast928) set up a day at the strip but I missed it. I'll have to see if he's up for going back in the spring. I'd love to see what my Porken special can do. 5-gears, no waiting.
