Thanks, I believe it is the only Hellbronze metallic North American GTS, I don't know about the ROW but I am curious - anybody ever see another this color?

By-Tor,

Hellbronze is a VERY common color from around '84 through '86... then is disappeared and I am not sure another car was built in that color till this one... You just never see S4's or GTS's in that color. Owner says the first owner special ordered it in that color because had a mid '80's S in the color and really liked it! I think it looks better on this car than it does on the S's even!

Quite correct, in fact the original owner had both an S and an S4 this color before he ordered the GTS. It is certainly a low key color, cops don't even give me a second look, in fact most people don't really notice the car, but the ones who do really do big double takes!

Yeah, that's what I meant... S4/GT/GTS models have very characteristic colors. If you look at the 928 pictures enough, you can almost tell the car production year from the color.

Yeah I've seen plenty of old S's with that tone. Very nice, suits well to a newer GTS too.

You can call it a 928 GTS Weissach! Incredible car and color combination.

^^^^^^
No not really... the Weissach cars were Weissgold, not Hellbronze, though if you don't see them close together it can fool you!

I just call it COOL, and would CERTAINLY buy a matching S to go with it...that is just me though!

Beauty about a 5 speed GTS, is you can let the clutch out without throttle. Try that with other manual tranny cars.
