Not sure if I am going to use mine or not, does the older rear sway bar have fitment issues also? Or is it just the newer batch.

Maybe after Dave recovers from Sharks in the Mountains, he can address some of these issues. I hope he
can get back to me about possible drop links for my front sway bar. Give him some time...

???? Last message you sent to Jeannie was in February??? I can't confrim if one of us replied to that one (it was sort of weird??), if not I apologize. But I do know Jeannie has responded to every other e-mail message you have sent her ( I haven't recieved an email from you in years). In checking the phone logs for at least the last 6 months, there has not been any voice messages left by you either??.

My apologies for the whole Sway Bar fiasco, it hasn't been handled correctly on any level and for my part I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience I have caused to you and everyone else. This is the first I have heard of getting the sway bar back "modified or not"? That still doesn't excuse all of the delays in your situation, inexcusably I have let time slip away on it hoping for a resolution from Addco...again my apologies..

At this time I think it is best that I refund you the money you paid Jim D. for BOTH of the sway bars. My records show Jim paid $477.05 for the Sway Bar SET including shipping. I assume he didn't mark up the price to you and will happily refund this to you. You can keep the Rear Sway bar as a gift, or if you no longer want it, you can send it back and I will pay the shipping cost for that, your choice.

I also responded to this in the New thread you started "trying" to contact me. Hopefully this will end this whole Sway Bar situation with you. Again, I am sorry for all the troubles and delay, none of it was intentional.

OK, I am confused about this so please clear this up fro me.

On 10/15/2010 you stated in your e-mail to Jeannie: "The rear bar is great and I removed some of the passenger side end to make
it fit better and not hit the plastic fuel hose cover."

So now you are saying in this current statement "sway bar had cut in the the rear fuel hose", is this something new after you "removed some" back in Oct.2010 where it was rubbing the plastic cover??

There is a big difference and it very important that this is clarified so I can pass this info on to Addco.

Thanks.

I do not monitor every Rennlist thread 24/7, or even Rennlist each and every day and tactics such as this are the worse way to get in touch with me IF that is the real intent.

In the future you may find it easier and quicker to get a response from me by taking a look at this link:

http://www.928gt.com/t-contact.aspx

FWIW I was out of town spending the weekend with my whole family at my Dad's farm to celebrate his 85th birthday. His farm is a Wi-Fi free zone with no PCs or laptops, so you could have been screaming to the high heavens here on Rennlist starting dozens of threads like this and I would never know it.....on the other hand, a simple call to my office phone and by leaving a message I would have gotten notified of that on the few trips out to town for supplies...or at a minimum when we got back to the office on Monday if it is not an emergency.

To everyone else,

If anyone is having any fitment problems with the Sway Bars please contact us directly (FYI, Rennlist Posts/Threads aren't "directly" :-) and we will do our best to resolve them the best we can.

Office Phone: (828) 290-9280 , PLEASE leave a message if you don't get us live on the phone.
Office email: order@928gt.com

My apologies again to anyone that has any issues with these sway bars.

Sincerely,

David

Thanks DR,
For clarification - after we removed the last inch (approx.) the bar no longer hits the hose and plastic cover.
Please just refund the cost of the front sway bar as I am happy with the rear one. I have since bought another front sway bar and will have it modified along the lines already covered in earlier posts.
Best regards,
Roger

For what it's worth, I've had great difficulty getting in touch with you in the past as well. My friend has had the same problem. SO much so that I've written you off as a parts source. I wish you the best and hope you can get this problem resolved.
