I would recommend that until the cam timing is confirmed that no attempt be made to crank/start the car. It may have jumped timing.....may not, but better to KNOW.

Just an update. My car was fixed and it is running well.
Apparently, the coil, cap, and plug wires were bad. The timing belt was loose and it was tighten. The fuel pump is making a lot of noise now so I will get it replaced. Thanks for all the recommendations on the forum. Special thanks to Bill Ball who generously offered to drive all the way down to South San Francisco to check out the car for me. Great bunch of people here.

Great to hear it wasn't EL Toast-O...

When I have had ignition stumbles in the past, (feels rough, and maybe running on four) I've killed the ignition and re-started to have it clear up. I eventually had to replace an underhood ignition module however... It was a god-send that the ignition problem allowed you to catch the loose timing belt...

Glad it was not hard parts and that a basic tune up got you on the road.
