What bodykit is this?
Hi
I currently have a 951, but are looking to add a shark to the familiy.
This car might be of interest, but I am not sure about the bodykit.
Question one: What body kit is it? any more pics?
Question two: How difficult would it be to remove the rear wings and replae with fiberglas GTS fenders?
The car is a 82 with a 5.0 32v

Thanks for the replies, and I totaly agree; it is an ugly beast. But if the price is right and I can clean up the rear so that it would resemble a GTS it wouldn't be too bad.
As for the kit, I have now taken a look at the jacquemond.com site and there is nothing there that looks anything like this. Maby this is something homemade.

I saw this also, sad that someone would use so much time and money to create something so ugly.
You might get away with changing to GTS flares on the rear, but it is hard to know if too much of the original fender was removed when the Jaquemond flares was fitted (you need to be able to cover the space with the GTS flares)..
The seller claims 400bhp, for this reason alone I would not trust anything he say, but that may just be me...
By the way, it is very common to find early 928's with late engines in Norway because of tax. Early cars like my '80 had their rear seats removed and was imported with reduced tax as vans(!) in the the beginning of the eighties. This practise was soon stopped and afterwards it was much much cheaper (like 100.000$ or more cheaper) to buy a damaged S4/GT/GTS from Germany and convert your old 928. Some of these cars only retained the bare shell from the donor, was done properly, and could be just as good as a original S4/GT/GTS. Some vere done only partially and bad and could be a nightmare to own.

I dont trust that this has a 400hp engine either, but since the car is close I wouldn't mind have a look at it.The owner for the last 9 years surely has spendt time and money on the exterior, eventhough it is not to anyones liking. It might just happend that he spendt some money under the hood as well...

I think Alex's assessment is correct... here is a link for a RL thread regarding a pure Gemballa kit:

The car is lots of fiberglass and lots of bondo already so why not just grind down what you do not like and fill it with glass and bondo ? The "GTS flairs " are entire rear metal 1/4 panels from roof to tail light and a big labor job to replace correctly.
