Here are a couple of pictures for Paul to show the relative height or depth of the Formuling wheel with the new hub in comparison to an original Porsche Wheel. Looks like it is about half an inch closer to the driver than an original wheel without the factory extension. As I said before, with the Formuling wheel being a little smaller in diameter, I think this will be about ideal.

Lookin' good Jerry!! I think the wrinkle finish looks great in the pics.

I think the depth will be just about perfect!! I know that mine has the factory extension and I feel like it is about 1/2" - 1" too close. This one should put it just about the right distance away from me. Fantastic job!!

Paul, I cooked it for about an hour or so in my shop oven and have put it together and packed it with your other hubs. I'll get it in the mail tomorrow.

Sounds great Jerry! I can't wait to get it!! I am anxious to put it in my car and see how it looks!

I've said it before, but I can't thank you enough for everything that you have done for me with this project!! You are the only reason that I am going to be able to use my good old trusty steering wheel, and I am definitely in your debt!! You are a credit to this group as well as "car guys" everywhere!!

Jerry Feather is absolutely AMAZING!!

Here are some pics of my steering wheel (ignore the filthy car please, gotta clean it tomorrow) including a shot from above so you can see the way cool lightening holes that Jerry put in the hub. My wheel is still a little dirty, but I will finish getting everything cleaned up tomorrow. I couldn't wait to post pictures of how good the wheel looks in my car!

Jerry, the length of the hub is PERFECT!! Before the hub was a little bit long and I had to reach for the turn signal lever, but now it is absolutely spot-on perfect! When I reach out for a lever it is EXACTLY where it is supposed to be.

I couldn't be more pleased with Jerry's work; it is absolutely amazing! Everyone that I have shown the hub to has been REALLY impressed with the craftsmanship. It truly looks fantastic, and like I said before, it is the perfect length.

Thanks again Jerry!! You are truly a GREAT guy!!

Thanks, Paul, for the feed back. It looks like that hub is going to do exactly what I had hoped--help you enjoy your favorite steering wheel in one of our favorite cars. Jerry Feather

My wheel might not be everybody's "cup of tea", but I think it looks absolutely fantastic in there and it feels amazing. Besides part of really owning a car is making it your own through customization.
